The Practice Services team works collaboratively with all practices across Australia, responsible for a diverse range of work including managing our outpost practice, pro bono practice, internal training programs, the AGS Opinions database, knowledge management framework, induction program and graduate program.
As the Practice Services Coordinator, you will support the National Manager in delivering support services to our 3 practice areas with a focus on the graduate, induction and outpost programs.
Your daily duties may include:
- Assisting with the National Practice Orientation program, including programming sessions and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinating other induction programs.
- Supporting the coordination of the graduate rotation program, including coordinating rotation details and appraisals, as well as organization of orientation and transition programs.
- Delivering internal training programs.
- Assisting with the administration of the outpost practice, including preparation of correspondence with clients, engagement with outposted lawyers, time-recording and coordination of logistics.
- Supporting the delivery of the pro bono program, which includes preparing rosters for project-based work.
- Supporting Practice Services initiatives, including internal audits and corporate projects.
- Serving as a point of contact for lawyers.
- Preparing reports and managing changing agendas.
- Providing additional support to the Practice Services team with internal and external training.
