The Operational Control Specialist plays a vital role in the success of our organization.

Job Summary:

A key responsibility is to oversee SCADA and VIBES information, collaborate with technicians, and ensure uninterrupted operational continuity of the system.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate SCADA and VIBES information and incidents.
  • Analyze errors, define causes, and maintain records of baggage incidents.
  • Collaborate with Mechanical and Electrical Technicians, Product Engineers, and Manual Intervention activities throughout each shift.
  • Communicate and manage SCADA information effectively.
  • Coordinate and manage VIBES information efficiently.
  • Guarantee the restart and operational continuity of the system.
  • Synchronize airline information with the system design.
  • Work closely with the Operations and Maintenance Team to address reactive and proactive incidents or maintenance as it arises or is scheduled.

Daily Tasks:

  • Engage daily with Mechanical and Electrical Technician colleagues to coordinate efforts to address issues.
  • Provide guidance to colleagues on where and what requires attention on a daily basis.
  • Identify problems and develop ideas for improvement, considering broader implications.
  • Work independently to complete recurring technical and/or operational tasks as part of the Operational and Maintenance Team.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with control systems through PC knowledge.
  • A certain level of technical expertise required.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings of the system.
  • Proficient in reading English language.
  • Experience working in high-pressure environments.
  • Clear and precise communication skills are essential.
  • Able to maintain an overview in dynamic environments.
