Trade Support Specialist

As a trade support specialist, you will be responsible for delivering seamless end-to-end support across the trade lifecycle. This includes partnering with trading and execution teams to ensure efficient operations and outstanding service in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

You will contribute to the front-to-back trading desk, providing technical support to operational teams across the global equities platform estate. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the technical delivery of key operational projects and initiatives, while also providing regular updates regarding equities operational changes to stakeholders, users, and the wider technology enterprise team.

In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders to deliver prompt responses to inquiries, support cash execution platforms, including vendor products Instinet Newport, FIS, and Fusion Raptor, and establish partnerships to coordinate various projects in a highly operational and regulated environment.

  • At least 1 year of experience in a previous front/back office support role
  • Experience working with execution and trading platforms – exposure to Instinet Newport, FIS, and IRESS is highly regarded
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Unix, and SQL (both physical and cloud environments)
  • Experience of order lifecycles to support trading products
  • Familiarity with electronic execution (algorithmic & DMA trading) and FIX protocol
