We are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Aged Care Trainee.

Aged Care Trainee Opportunity
  • As an Aged Care Trainee, you will be responsible for providing personal care to residents, including showering, dressing, grooming and meal preparation.
  • You will work in a team environment with established staff to provide social activities and support to residents.

This is a fully supported employment and training position, where you will work and study for 12 months to gain your qualification. No experience or qualifications are required, just a great attitude and willingness to learn and work.

The role involves working part-time up to 35 hours a week, with guaranteed 15 hours per week. You will be offered a set 24-month contract for the traineeship.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Personal care (showering, dressing, grooming)
  • Bed making and room tidying
  • Feeding
  • Setting tables and meals for residents
  • Social and activity planning

You will be partnered with a workplace Buddy/Mentor who will support and guide you throughout your traineeship.
