Helping Hands is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Coordinator to join our team. This permanent part-time opportunity offers 25 hours per week, with the possibility of extra hours during school holidays.

About the Role

You will co-manage a team of Educators, providing support and leadership opportunities. The role involves managing a service at a primary school, catering to children aged 5-12 years, with the support of a state-specific office and regional managers.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and facilitating an engaging child-centered program with activities such as STEM, sport, cooking, art, and craft;
  • Fostering healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents;
  • Leading a team of Educators onsite, including roster management;
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of your service, including compliance and administration.
What We're Looking For

We are looking for an individual who enjoys working with children, has strong communication skills, and is a team player. You should also be willing to obtain a national police check and hold or be willing to obtain a state check for working with children. Additionally, you must have Australian work rights.
