About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect). As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals on the autism spectrum and their families to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for individuals on the autism spectrum
  • Provide evidence-based therapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, to address a range of mental health concerns
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and support
  • Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans to promote positive behaviour change
  • Conduct regular progress monitoring and evaluation to inform treatment decisions

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum and their families
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and continuous learning
