About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Performance Analyst to join our team at Auto & General. As a key member of our business, you will be responsible for providing operational information, analysis, and insight to ensure emerging trends are identified and appropriate action is taken.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver operational reporting to support the Motor Claims leadership team, identifying and providing insight on cost, productivity, quality trends, and claims leakage.
  • Proactively provide analysis to better support and inform business understanding and decisions, and provide recommendations for corrective actions to address business challenges.
  • Support the leadership team to define and track initiative benefits and determine relevant KPIs and targets.
  • Assist in the development of a Reporting Framework.
  • Develop reporting and analysis solutions leveraging the SAS data warehouse and BI tools such as Power BI.
  • Develop and maintain modeling from varying sources of complex information from multiple systems/information sources.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve data integrity issues, applying quality assurance processes when sourcing data and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Resolve multiple conflicting user requirements into a common acceptable solution.

Requirements:

  • Experience in business performance analysis and well-demonstrated commercial acumen is advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of Claims Insurance business and processes.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Intermediate SAS, SQL, and/or Power BI skills are advantageous.
  • Ability to translate large volumes of data into meaningful information and insight, and competent reporting skills.
  • Demonstrated collaborative and consultative approach to work, with the ability to work both independently and within a small team.
  • A collaborative and consultative approach to work, along with accuracy, high attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
  • A Business/Commerce qualification with a specialization in Information Management, Business, Finance, Statistics, or Mathematical qualification is desirable.
