Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customs Clearance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our international trade operations, you will be responsible for facilitating the smooth movement of goods across international borders.

In this role, you will manage customs clearance processes for high-value import shipments, prepare and submit timely customs declarations, and ensure accurate import customs declarations are made on behalf of customers.

You will stay up-to-date on changing customs regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements, providing expert advice and guidance to clients regarding import/export requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate customs clearance processes for high-value import shipments
  • Prepare and submit timely customs declarations
  • Ensure accurate import customs declarations are made on behalf of customers
  • Stay updated on changing customs regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements
Requirements
  • Current Australian Customs Brokers License
  • Experience in customs clearance and international freight, with a minimum of 1 year in entry writing
  • Strong understanding of international trade regulations and shipping logistics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good reporting, data analysis & Microsoft Office Suite skills
