Urgent Care Nurse Opportunity in Cairns

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Urgent Care Nurse to join our dynamic team in Cairns, Queensland.

About the Role:

  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments to efficiently triage patients.
  • Deliver high-quality patient care and take decisive actions for patients requiring emergency attention or experiencing health deterioration.
  • Offer healthcare-related education to patients as needed.
  • Complete all documentation accurately and promptly.

Requirements:

  • A clinical background in General Practice and/or Triage.
  • Providing compassion, empathy and understanding to patients and their families whilst maintaining a professional approach.
  • Be a team player with strong critical thinking skills, who can work both independently and collaboratively in our dynamic team environment.
  • Effective time management and prioritisation.
  • Flexibility to work across all shifts/days.
  • Current ALS/CPR AHPRA Registration.

Working Conditions:

  • Up to 10pm, weekends and Public Holidays.
