We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Loan Officer to join our team. As a key member of our mortgage processing team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of construction loans.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in mortgage processing and knowledge of construction home loans. They will also possess strong communication skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process progress payments relating to completed stages in construction of residential home loans
  • Chase up invoices and documents from contractors, inputting information into the database, and chase up third parties, solicitors, councils, and agents
  • Receive and process all progress payment requests
  • Obtain replacement insurance for stages of construction
  • Update systems, convert loans to standard products once construction has been completed and finalized

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in mortgage processing and knowledge of construction home loans
  • Ability to prioritize work and perform well under pressure
  • Problem-solving and multitasking skills
  • Focusing and good attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate level Microsoft and computer-based system skills
