We are seeking a compassionate and skilled nursing professional to join our IPU Ward team in Queanbeyan. As a dedicated healthcare provider, you will deliver comprehensive care to patients with a variety of medical conditions.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing person-centered nursing care using best practice evidence in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

You will also have the opportunity to supervise and support less experienced clinicians to achieve high-quality people-focused care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with a variety of medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver person-centered care.
  • Supervise and support less experienced clinicians to achieve high-quality people-focused care.
Requirements
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a registered nurse.
  • Demonstrated competencies and knowledge of nursing care in a multidisciplinary context.
  • Effective clinical communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to apply evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement individualized, person-centered care.
  • Recent clinical experience relevant to the position, with participation in ongoing professional development and maintenance of competence.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload, delivering care with integrity and accountability.
