Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Veterinary Nursing Manager to lead our veterinary nursing team with exceptional communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a team of vet nurses, fostering a positive work environment
  • Support busy vets in their daily operations
  • Perform general nursing tasks, including pre-operative care, animal pathology, emergency and critical care
  • Enhance clinic operations through initiative and collaboration
  • Work closely with the veterinary team to deliver high standards of patient care
  • Handle client inquiries professionally
  • Manage inventory to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs
Ideal Candidate
  • Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent, with a minimum of 2+ years of experience
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring vet nurses
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work effectively within a team
  • Excellent knowledge of surgical nursing techniques and procedures
  • A calm and friendly presence
  • Great communication and customer service skills
  • Flexible and adaptable within a team environment
