Job Title: Clinical Nurse Manager

The Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible for leading the interdisciplinary team in providing high-quality patient care. This involves managing and overseeing the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of resident assessments and care plans. The successful candidate will be a skilled nurse with strong leadership abilities, able to motivate and guide staff members in delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Team Management:
  • Lead and manage the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Mentor and develop staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of patient care services.
Patient Care:Ensure that residents receive person-centered care that meets their unique needs and preferences.Work closely with residents and families to understand their concerns and preferences.Develop and implement individualized care plans that promote optimal health outcomes.Quality Improvement:Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address these gaps.Collaborate with other departments to implement changes that improve patient care and outcomes.Education and Training:Develop and deliver educational programs to staff members on best practices in patient care.Provide mentorship and coaching to new staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in patient care.Communication and Collaboration:Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless delivery of patient care services.Collaborate with other departments to achieve shared goals and objectives.Maintain open lines of communication with staff members to foster a positive work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education:
  • Nursing degree from an accredited college or university required.
  • Current unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.

Experience:
  • Five years experience in nursing, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Two years experience in supervisory or management roles preferred.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of current nursing practices and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems required.
