About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled E&I Supervisor to oversee the electrical and instrumentation aspects of a brownfields construction project in Darwin, Northern Territory. The project will involve managing a team of E&I Technicians and tradespeople to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration in executing project tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Team Leadership: Directly manage and lead a team of E&I Technicians and tradespeople to ensure the successful execution of project tasks.
  2. Safety Compliance: Enforce and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring that all electrical and instrumentation activities adhere to industry safety standards and company policies.
  3. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of work meets project standards and specifications.
  4. Schedule Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive schedule for E&I activities, coordinating with other disciplines to optimize project timelines.
  5. Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources, equipment, and materials to meet project requirements and deadlines.
  6. Communication: Foster effective communication within the Electrical team and collaborate with other discipline supervisors and project managers to address challenges and ensure smooth project progression.
  7. Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues related to activities, providing innovative solutions to overcome obstacles.
  8. Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of E&I activities, including daily reports, progress reports, and any required project documentation.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of experience in E&I supervision on brownfields construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and instrumentation systems, equipment, and construction techniques, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing electrical teams and delivering projects on time and within budget. Relevant certifications or qualifications in related E&I disciplines, such as hazardous areas qualifications, are highly desirable.
