About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to lead our team of disability support workers in providing high-intensity support to clients. As a Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a dedicated team of disability support workers, providing high-intensity support to clients.
  • Ensure the overall performance of the service aligns with annual work plans and meets established targets.
  • Promote person-directed support and community participation that exceeds minimum disability standards, all within available resources.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of supported accommodation services, surpassing identified Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide high-quality support to customers and their families, offering management support to care staff.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll share Yooralla's Values and have:

  • Demonstrated management experience, preferably within a community services environment.
  • Understanding of legislation and standards relevant to the disability sector.
  • Knowledge and understanding of how to support staff in implementing contemporary and person-centered approaches to uphold the rights and support needs of individuals with disabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage financial and staff resources within a complex environment.
  • Excellent initiative, self-directed work practices, and highly developed organizational skills.
  • A relevant qualification and/or significant experience in the human services area.
