Investment Funds Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Investment Funds Specialist to join our team in the Cayman Islands. As a key member of our dynamic Investment Funds team, you will advise clients on structuring, establishing, and operating fund products across various asset classes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice to clients on investment fund structures, including distressed situation funds, private debt, credit funds, hedge funds, and bespoke structures.
  • Review and analyze transaction documentation from a legal perspective, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
  • Draft, negotiate, and review fund documentation and agreements, guaranteeing clarity and precision.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with domestic and international clients, leveraging exceptional communication skills to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Pursue business development opportunities, promoting our services and identifying new revenue streams.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive success within the team.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3-6 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) in investment funds, preferably gained at a top-tier law firm or financial institution.
  • A strong academic background, complemented by outstanding written communication and drafting skills.
  • Proven technical expertise and a client-centric approach, enabling effective relationship building and solution delivery.
  • An ability to work collaboratively, supervising junior colleagues and contributing to team goals.
  • Proven organizational skills and a proactive attitude toward business development.
