Job Title: Medication Safety Standard Coordinator
">About the RoleThis is a high-level clinical nurse consultant position that supports the development of processes for safe prescribing, dispensing, and administering medicines across West Moreton Health. The role ensures consumers are informed about medicines and understand their individual needs and risks according to the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standard 4 – Medication Safety.
Key Responsibilities- Develop processes to support clinicians in safely prescribing, dispensing, and administering medicines
- Monitor medicine use across West Moreton Health
- Ensure consumers are informed about medicines and understand their individual needs and risks
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in nursing or a related field
- Experience in medication safety and quality improvement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
