The role of a Veteran Engagement Coordinator is crucial in fostering connections between local Defence communities and sporting organizations.

This part-time position, requiring a 3-day workweek, offers the opportunity to work flexibly and make a meaningful impact.

Key responsibilities include developing strategies to engage veterans and their families, organizing events, and building strong relationships with defence and veteran communities, government agencies, and key stakeholders.

In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying needs within the local community and connecting them with local sporting groups, promoting Invictus Australia's programs, and maintaining accurate records.

What We're Looking For

We seek an individual with demonstrated experience in community engagement, stakeholder management, or veteran support services.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport with diverse groups.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills are required to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
