In this role, you will:



Key Responsibilities



    • Develop and coach high-performing agile individuals and squads on agile mindsets and behaviors, ensuring full team engagement.
    • Strengthen the team's understanding of Agile by blending processes like Scrum, Kanban, Systems Thinking, and OKRs.
    • Build an end-to-end value-driving mindset for cross-functional squads.
    • Determine root problems from stakeholders and lead analysis of problems/solutions.
    • Capture requirements and translate them into detailed user stories for the engineering team using the INVEST principle.
    • Gain a deep understanding of business domains and act as the SME and stakeholder proxy to the engineering team, influencing and managing the scope of engineering work according to business priorities.
    • Collaborate iteratively with stakeholders, focusing on critical functionality with built-in scope for refining requirements through iterative development.
    • Participate in agile development teams and participate in agile rituals.
    • Prioritize and maintain the backlog for assigned projects, balancing stakeholder requirements.
    • Contribute to facilitating scope management, quality, and timeliness within a team environment.
    • Interact with different engineering squads, experiencing various aspects of our vast e-commerce platform.
    • Efficiently work across multiple projects at all stages of the software delivery lifecycle.
    • Drive focus on shipping to production as quickly as possible, using data to identify, escalate, and improve delivery bottlenecks for efficient software delivery.
    • Accurately report progress of tasks and projects, maintaining ongoing communication with project teams and management about project progress, issues, and relevant items.




Requirements



    • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst, with a solid understanding of the agile software development cycle.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including running workshops, showcases, and communicating effectively with engineers and stakeholders across the organization.
    • Experimental and motivated to try new approaches without hesitation.
    • Strong analytical skills to interpret business needs and develop suitable technical solutions.
    • Ability to understand and document technical requirements.
    • Effective problem-solving skills and creative thinking.
    • Managing competing stakeholder priorities and objectives.
    • Thriving in a fast-paced and agile environment.




Salary Range

This role comes with a salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
