Tennis Australia is undergoing a major phase of digital transformation, and as a result, this opportunity has emerged for a skilled Digital Transformation Expert. The Digital Transformation Program aims to establish new digital experiences, foundational capabilities, and strategic enablers. Unified Digital Experience will cover Web and Mobile Digital Presence for Tennis Australia. This digital experience will enhance how our customers find courts, coaches, and tournaments, participate in Leagues and Tournaments, manage their rating and ranking, and administrators and deliverers who organize and deliver Tennis.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Technical Lead to drive the development of a Unified Digital Experience across web and mobile platforms. As a Technical Lead, you'll be responsible for defining and delivering robust solutions using .NET/Node.js, React, TypeScript, and Azure, as well as integrating with Dynamics CRM and third-party applications. You'll be in charge of building scalable, innovative applications to enhance the user experience across Tennis Australia's digital platforms.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and enhance APIs and Function Apps for integrating external vendors with Tennis Australia's service
  • Build Azure DevOps resources for API deployment and development
  • Develop technical documentation of systems and interfaces using internal documentation templates.
  • Collaborate with Business and IT teams to provide innovative and responsive solutions for tennis consumers.
  • Promptly resolve issues to ensure system reliability and user satisfaction, showcasing an understanding of problems and effective communication of solutions and trade-offs.

About you

What you will bring to the role:

  • Proficient in React and TypeScript
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in C# with substantial expertise in API integration
  • Skilled in creating Azure DevOps resources for the development and deployment of APIs.
  • Knowledgeable in the establishment of observability, encompassing metrics and logging.
  • Proven experience in the development of Web Services and Web APIs, with a focus on implementing meaningful application telemetry and configuring dashboards and alerts for both business and operational metrics.
  • Experience in integrating with Dynamics CRM
  • Experience in constructing CI/CD pipelines.
  • You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.

Compensation and Benefits

This position comes with an estimated annual salary of AU$120,000 - AU$150,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, you'll enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including tickets to the Australian Open, monthly health and wellbeing activities, onsite gym and tennis facilities, flexible working practices, free car parking, and a range of discounts from our sponsorship partners.
