Job Title:

A key role exists for a skilled Communications Specialist to manage stakeholder engagement and develop effective communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice on media and issues management, crisis communications, risk assessment and reporting, community engagement and communication strategies.
  • Prepare high-quality communications materials, including project collateral, media releases, ministerial briefings, newsletters and others.
  • Develop comprehensive strategies for stakeholder management and consult with key interest groups.
  • Coordinate engaging community and stakeholder activities for infrastructure projects.
  • Develop and implement targeted communication strategies, activities and policies to achieve project objectives.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current holder of a Class C driver's licence with own vehicle.
  • Required to undergo thorough employment screening as part of the selection process.
  • Hold a valid Construction Industry Induction Card or have ability to obtain within six months.
  • Must be willing to wear safety boots, 100% cotton long sleeved shirt, 100% cotton long trousers and hard hat with wide brim attachment.
