About This Role

The Integrated Homelessness Program is a collaborative initiative that aims to improve access to mainstream services for individuals experiencing homelessness. By working closely with government and non-government partners, the program provides intensive tenancy support and case management services.

This position plays a crucial role in managing public housing rental properties. As a Housing Officer, you will be responsible for providing customers with information, referral, advocacy, and tenancy management services. You will work closely with Aboriginal customers and other stakeholders to identify and respond to individual needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality tenancy management services to a diverse customer base
  • Identifying and responding to individual needs of customers
  • Maintaining strong relationships with Aboriginal customers and other stakeholders

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Desirable - Social Housing Management Diploma; Social Science or Human Service Qualification
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations
