**About This Role**

We seek a strategic thinker to support our Corporate Development & Group Strategy Team. They will manage projects, prepare recommendations, meet with external parties and represent the strategy team.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Manage strategic projects and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve objectives.

- Business planning/business case development: Work with senior management and stakeholders on PEXA's business planning process and business case development.

- Research and analysis: Consultatively working with all areas of the business to solve strategic problems. This includes gathering data, documenting trouble areas and using structured methodologies to analyse data and provide solutions.

- Collaborate with teams and departments to provide expertise and insight.

- Gather data, perform complex analysis, think strategically and document hypothesis-driven opportunity identification.

- Lead teams towards best practices in:

- Performing industry research using publicly available data sources.

- Requisitioning and purchasing private data sources to provide research and analysis.

- Using data mining tools to collect data for further research and analysis.

- Collaborating with programmers to create tools to collect and analyze data.

- Manipulating data to discover insights.

- Generating and delivering reports from data analysis.

- Offering suggestions and direction from analysis to guide organisation decision-makers.

- Understanding key value drivers and their interaction with domestic and international markets to monitor trends and engage with external parties.

- Identifying new business growth opportunities through organic growth and mergers and acquisitions.

- Maintain knowledge base of existing and emerging companies and technologies relevant to PEXA's eco-system.

**Required Skills & Qualifications:**

- Experience in strategy and/or innovation roles for a major organisation and/or respected management consulting firm.

- Relevant undergraduate degrees, such as Engineering, Accounting and corporate finance qualifications desirable.

- Working knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools desirable.

- Significant attention to detail and ability to spot and fix problems.

- Strong business acumen and analytical capability with excellent commercial judgement.

- Excellent writing and verbal communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.

- Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
