Category Strategy Manager Job

We are seeking a seasoned Category Strategy Manager to lead our category insights team and drive strategic planning initiatives.

About the Role

This key position involves leveraging industry-leading data tools to uncover valuable customer insights and develop innovative strategies that meet and exceed changing customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Category Insights team (3 direct reports) driving strategic planning and improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders in merchandise and marketing to address customer challenges and stay ahead in the evolving retail landscape.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to stakeholders on optimising customer experience and driving innovation within the Liquor category.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills gained through a minimum of 7 years' experience in previous analytical roles.
  • Proven experience leading category planning processes in FMCG organisations.
  • People leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing category growth drivers.
