As a Sales Consultant at Macro Recruitment, you will have the opportunity to work with a well-established flow measurement technology provider in QLD. This permanent role involves promoting and growing sales by providing process measurement consultation and solutions to customers in mining and minerals.

This position requires Sales Engineering Experience and a certificate level / diploma level / degree level qualification in mechanical / electrical engineering / instrumentation disciplines. You will be based in Brisbane and will have a salary between 90k to 110k + an On Target Bonus of 20k.

A normal day will involve creating sales opportunities, working in a flexible manner, and managing customer relationships. You will report to a Regional Sales Manager and be responsible for maintaining regular face-to-face and phone contact with clients.

  • Develop and recommend annual sales forecasts for the region/business propose budgets and advise management on the market strategies required to achieve sales targets.
  • Plan and manage the sales effort in the region
  • Monitor the market within the region of control and advise management of changes in competition, product availability, quality reports or related matters.
  • Collaborate with other internal sales personnel or external as nominated in the planning and executing of special projects and programs within the regions.
  • Develop new business opportunities with new and existing clients and attend to key accounts personally to ensure satisfaction.
  • Participate in the recruitment, selection and training of sales staff
