About the Role:

This is a critical role where you will be responsible for working with large corporates across various sectors, providing them with tailored lending solutions. You will play a pivotal role in advising and structuring credit facilities, as well as executing lending transactions. Additionally, you will support the execution of financial markets and transaction services products to meet our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Originate and develop business relationships with corporate clients, including large Australian diversified corporations and subsidiaries of ING corporate clients based in Asia, Europe, or the US
  • Prepare credit proposals and manage the credit approval process for lending, trade finance, and financial market limits
  • Negotiate loan documentation and trade finance documentation with clients in collaboration with the coverage team, Risk, and Legal
  • Monitor portfolio performance, identify early warning signals for credit quality deterioration, and perform annual reviews
  • Support the coverage team in origination and business development of lending products
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in deal-making and credit analysis in the banking industry
  • University degree in business, economics, law, or a relevant discipline
  • Experience in syndicated loans, club deals, and bilateral transactions
  • Strong analytical skills (financial/credit) and attention to detail
  • Excellent client focus and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong negotiating, relationship management, and sales skills

  • A competitive salary: $200,000 - $300,000 AUD per annum, depending on experience
