This role focuses on the strategic development, implementation and management of a digital payment & financial ledger system. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders across Revenue NSW, the Department of Customer Service, and end-users to ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with user needs.
Key Responsibilities- Product Vision: Develop and communicate a clear vision for the digital payment & financial ledger system, aligning it with business objectives.
- Defining Success Metrics: Define and track key success metrics for the digital product, using data to measure performance and inform decision-making.
- User Engagement: Engage with users to gather requirements, understand their needs, and ensure their input is incorporated into the product development process.
- Backlog Management: Collaborate with the Product Owner and development team to prioritise and manage the product backlog, delivering the most valuable features first.
- Agile Development: Advise planning and sprint development with the Product Owner to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.
- Compliance: Ensure the product complies with regulations, standards and best practices, including data security and privacy requirements.
- Strong understanding of agile development methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate complex requirements into actionable tasks.
- Knowledge of financial systems and government accounting principles.
- Familiarity with data security and privacy regulations.
