Hotel Duty Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Hotel Duty Manager to oversee front-of-house operations and lead a team of professionals.

  • Manage the efficient running of hotel services, ensuring exceptional food and beverage knowledge and time management skills.
  • Lead by example, providing strong communication and leadership skills to motivate team members and promote a positive work environment.
  • Work effectively in a team environment, with the ability to work nights and weekends as required.
Key Responsibilities:

As a Hotel Duty Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing front-of-house operations, including guest service, food and beverage preparation, and cash handling.
  • Leading a team of staff, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations and liquor laws.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum 1 year experience in a similar venue, preferably in a senior management or supervisory position.
  • Exceptional food and beverage knowledge, including menu planning, wine lists, and inventory management.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Australia RSA certification is required.
