**Paediatric Medicine Specialist Opportunity**

We are seeking an experienced Paediatric General Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team in providing high-quality medical care to children and adolescents.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside Paediatricians, registrars and allied health professionals in our general paediatric clinics (0-18 years), based at the Early Parenting Centre, McKellar.

About the Role:

  • To provide specialist medical care to patients in the context of a multidisciplinary team.
  • To collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care for patients.
  • To develop and maintain strong relationships with families and caregivers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. To work as a consultant alongside Paediatricians, registrars and allied health professionals in our general paediatric clinics (0-18 years).
  2. To contribute to the development of effective treatment plans and strategies for patients.
  3. To participate in clinical decision-making and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  4. To engage in education, training and research initiatives that advance paediatric medicine.

About Our Team:

You will be part of a large paediatric team supported by an engaged consultant group with responsibility for a 24-bed inpatient ward and 13-bed Level 5 Nursery managing inborn deliveries from 31 weeks gestation, as well as direct involvement in management of 1-3 intensive care paediatric patients in a mixed adult-paediatric ICU service.
