Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to further develop your skills in Pain Medicine. As a second-year trainee, you will be working in a multidisciplinary environment with experienced pain medicine specialists, psychologists, physiotherapists, and allied health clinicians.

Our team provides comprehensive care for patients with acute and chronic pain conditions. You will have the chance to develop advanced procedural skills, including neuromodulation techniques, and participate in innovative cognitive-behavioral programs.

In this role, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care. You will also have opportunities to engage in quality assurance, teaching, and research activities supported by both our organization and Epworth Hospital.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Have successfully completed Year 1 Pain Training or equivalent experience
  • Be enrolled in or eligible for enrollment in the Pain Medicine Training Program, Faculty of Pain Medicine, Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists
  • Have passed or are eligible to sit the Foundations of Pain Medicine Examination
  • Have completed their primary specialty Fellowship or be in the final stages with eligibility for training credit for Pain Medicine
