House Manager and Carer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced House Manager and Carer to join our family in Sydney. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys working with older children, taking initiative in household management, and being part of a kind and progressive family environment.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing household organisation, meal preparation, errands, and after-school support for two teenage girls. They will play a key role in mentoring and guiding the girls, assisting with homework and supporting their school routines.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage household organisation, meal preparation, and errands.
  • Support the girls with homework, school routines, and extracurricular activities.
  • Prepare nutritious meals considering the girls' different tastes and dietary needs.

A typical day involves:

  • Morning: Assist with household tasks, cooking, or shopping.
  • Afternoon: Support the girls with sport drop-offs, homework, or other activities.
  • Evening: Help with meal preparation and ensure the household is organised for the next day.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications: Current first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain one), current Working With Children's Check.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, full and clean driver's license.
