Job Title:

Private Household Manager

A highly skilled and experienced household manager is required to join a prominent family in Sydney.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day needs of the family, including household errands, meal preparation, and childcare.

The primary role of the household manager is to ensure a safe and organized environment for the family, particularly for three children aged 8, 5, and 3 years old.

The job expectations include:

  • Implementing processes and strategies to deal with the family's busy schedule
  • Ensuring all family members are prepared for any changes in the week
  • Day-to-day family errands, including grocery shopping, dry cleaning, and post office runs
  • Managing the household vehicles, including emptying and cleaning them daily
  • Liaising with other staff as needed
  • Assisting with family and household events
  • Cleaning and maintaining the home, including bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and kitchen
  • Maintaining clear communication with the parents and ensuring they are kept informed of any important matters

The household manager will also be required to travel with the family on domestic and international trips, which may involve flying in the same class or a separate class, with children or alone. The household manager will have their own room within a condo or suite with the family.
