Job Opportunity

This senior systems engineer position requires a Full Scope polygraph clearance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and define system architecture for new or existing computer systems to ensure efficient performance.
  • Maintain organization-wide computer system workflows and guarantee the reliable operation of computer systems, including resolving network issues promptly.
  • Provide technical assistance in managing networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures to optimize system performance.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot moderately complex system hardware and software problems effectively.
  • Train users on proper hardware and software usage to enhance productivity.
  • Install and upgrade operating systems and layered software packages to maintain system integrity.
  • Monitor and fine-tune systems to achieve optimal performance levels consistently.
  • Evaluate workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions to prevent security breaches.
  • Audit workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines regularly.
  • Ensure computer performance and security meet user needs effectively.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Systems Administration experience is required.
  • Systems Architecture experience is necessary.
  • IAT Level II certification is mandatory.
  • CompTIA Security+ CE certification is essential.
  • Minimum 19 years of experience (HS or GED) or 14 years of experience (Bachelor's degree).

Employment Terms:
