As a Senior Project Manager in the renewable energy sector, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of Utility solar energy projects within Australia. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in solar energy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead the installation training, commissioning, and troubleshooting of solar tracking systems at customer sites.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Ensure quality control processes are implemented to guarantee the installation and operation of solar trackers meet company standards and client expectations.
  • Frequently conduct site inspections to identify and communicate with clients to rectify issues.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the installation team for the installation of Golden Tracker.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during installation, commissioning, or operation.
  • Oversee the proper handling and maintenance of equipment and materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, including installation progress, checklists, training certificates, MOMs, and troubleshooting records.
  • Prepare project reports and communicate progress to project stakeholders.

This position demands a proven track record of managing multiple complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and budget constraints.

Able to travel frequently according to project needs. Organised person, able to identify priorities, plan work accordingly, and execute them on time. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team. Willingness to learn new areas of work. Commitment.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Construction, Construction Engineering, or similar field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in photovoltaic tracker installation or more than 6 years in the photovoltaic industry.
  • Solid knowledge of civil-mechanical photovoltaic installation (especially driving and alignment of trackers).
