We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Pet Grooming Trainee.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to break into the pet industry or gain practical skills and knowledge in dog grooming. As a trainee, you will have the chance to learn from experienced groomers while completing a government-recognised training program.

The role involves working as a bather, preparing dogs for grooming, and supporting the team with cleaning and other salon duties. You will also have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in dog grooming and develop your skills over a two-year period.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to physically handle larger breed dogs confidently, work long days on your feet, and possess good communication skills. You will also need to have a hard work ethic and passion for learning and growth.

The traineeship lasts for two years and provides a comprehensive training program that covers all aspects of dog grooming. Upon completion, you will receive a recognised qualification in Animal Care Services Pet Grooming.
