Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join our Fulton Hogan Utilities business. Based in Sydney, this role will involve managing bids across multiple regions and driving career growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing Market Sounding responses and preparing associated collateral information
  • Prepare information briefing packs to support internal approvals processes
  • Manage bids from beginning to end in the project pursuit process, from EOI to tendering, contract award, and handover to the delivery team
  • Proactively assist in developing and implementing the win strategy for each pursuit opportunity, working closely with Pre-contracts, Estimating, and Submission teams
  • Provide input to identifying potential partnering opportunities, including evaluation, comparison, and recommendation based on multi-criteria assessment
  • Maintain records of pursuits, engagements, future opportunities, etc.
  • Work with the General Manager, Operations Manager, and Business Development Manager to manage key client relationships and identify opportunities to sustain and grow our business
Requirements
  • Relevant degree in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of bid management experience, ideally with a tier 1 contractor
  • Demonstrated track record in managing the complete tender process once leads are converted to pursuit opportunities
  • Comprehensive understanding of capital works delivery in the utilities/infrastructure sector
