**About the role**:
Based in Alexandria office in Sydney and with flexible work arrangements, the position will be responsible for supporting the NSM - Strategic and the Strategic Sales Team - in selling the company’s fuel and lubricants to nominated high level customers within the Segment to maximise the volume and margin return to Ampol.

We are looking for an individual who can thrive in an ambiguous, changing, and fast paced environments, with demonstrated capacity in building relationships and networks with variety of internal and external stakeholders.

**Key responsibilities.**
- Support the National Sales Manager - Strategic and team members in the sales of Ampol products and services.
- Contribute to the Strategic team to meet business plan and targets.
- Develop improved business processes and activities to drive the Sales efforts.
- Oversee the strategic: pipeline, strategies, business plans, budgets, and results.
- Support strategic bid management process and ongoing customer engagement.
- Foster strong working peer relationships within the Strategic Segment & B2B more generally.

**Skills and experience**:

- Minimum 3 years + sales &/or sales support experience in a B2B environment.
- Desirable exposure to CRM/Salesforce, SAP.
- Understand budgets and key sales metrics e.g., Net Available Margin.
- Ability to analyse product and financial data.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Confident & clear communicator.
- Understands general Terms & Conditions of a customer contract.
- Bid Management experience.
