The role of Facilities Manager is a crucial part in ensuring the safety and functionality of state-based early learning centres.

You will oversee the maintenance and operations of multiple centres, managing contractors and suppliers to ensure quality service and cost-efficiency. Preventative maintenance programs will be implemented and emergency issues responded to promptly.

A key aspect of this role is collaboration with centre managers to understand facility needs and develop budgets for maintenance and improvements.

We are seeking an experienced individual with a proven track record in facilities management, preferably in education or childcare. Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and regulatory compliance is essential.

The ideal candidate will have excellent project management and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.

This is a permanent full-time position that requires willingness to travel across the state and between centre locations on a periodic schedule.
