**Warehouse Assistant Job Summary**

  • As a Warehouse Assistant, you'll work behind the scenes in a retail storeroom to ensure stock integrity and maintain an efficient flow of merchandise from the storeroom to the sales floor.

We're seeking a proactive and reliable individual who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. You'll be responsible for receiving and processing incoming deliveries, ensuring accuracy of items and quantities.

You'll utilize various machinery such as pallet jacks, walkie stackers, and trolleys to efficiently manage stock. Additionally, you'll provide excellent customer service, supporting customers with pickups of their purchased items.

  2. Unpack, label, and organize merchandise in an efficient and orderly manner.
  3. Receive and process incoming deliveries, ensuring accuracy of items and quantities.
  4. Utilize various machinery such as pallet jacks, walkie stackers, and trolleys.
  5. Provide friendly customer service and support customers with pickups of their purchased items.
  6. Maintain store floor and stockroom standards.

**Requirements**

  • 2-3 years of experience in a retail storeroom environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Previous customer service experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to operate various machinery such as pallet jacks, walkie stackers, and trolleys (training will be provided).
  • Self-sufficiency and ability to work unsupervised.
  • Technical skills: proficiency in using inventory management software and point-of-sale systems.
  • Physical Requirements: able to lift up to 15kgs between floor and shoulder, 10kgs above shoulder height on your own & 45kgs with the help of another team member.
