At Amazon, we are currently seeking an experienced Operations Shift Manager to play a key role in leading our team of associates within our Delivery Station.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance while ensuring customer orders are delivered at the right time, to the right location.
  2. Lead and develop a team of Amazon associates to achieve business objectives.
  3. Collaborate with support teams including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business needs.
  4. Identify and lead process improvement initiatives using Lean tools.
  5. Meet physical requirements, including pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching varying weights.

This is a dynamic role that requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in operations, supply chain/logistics, or a related field, with a proven track record of managing sizable teams and driving results through problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Working experience in Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field
  • Experience as a manager, involving sizable teams
  • Demonstrated ability in problem-solving and analytical capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
