Housekeeping Leadership Role

This role is ideal for experienced individuals who wish to take their skills to the next level and lead a team in delivering exceptional housekeeping standards.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership abilities, a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. They will be responsible for supervising housekeeping teams, maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms and ensuring that all aspects of housekeeping are carried out to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise housekeeping teams and perform various cleaning duties of hotel rooms, villa apartments and houses in compliance with resort standards.
  2. Support the management team with workforce management, administration, rostering and operational service of the entire housekeeping department.
  3. Maintain the cleanliness of guest rooms and provide necessary training to staff.
  4. Supervise and mentor team leaders.
  5. Monitor disposal of laundry, garbage and recyclable waste items where necessary.
  6. Evaluate and ensure adherence to policies and procedures, including maintenance and health safety reporting.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a housekeeping supervisor role in a similar environment with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a close team environment.
  • Australian drivers license preferred.
  • Previous hotel or resort cleaning experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise and organise multiple tasks with a commitment to deliver results.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and resolve problems.
  • Experience in motivating team members to achieve targets and outcomes.
