Housekeeping Position in Residential Aged Care

We are seeking a Housekeeper to join our team at Rosebrook, a residential aged care facility located on the Mornington Peninsula. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of resident rooms, common areas, and other facilities within the home
  • Clean and maintain all equipment, furniture, and fixtures
  • Assist with laundry and linen duties
  • Participate in infection control and hygiene practices
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the home

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is desirable
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks
  • Knowledge of WHS and infection control principles
