Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the IT Manager/Director to resolve network and hardware issues.
  • Identify and troubleshoot network dysfunctions, ensuring our technical systems run smoothly.
  • Provide employees with necessary technology, protect important files, and maintain information security.
  • Implement security measures, monitor security certificates, and ensure compliance.
  • Offer technical support to staff, troubleshoot computer problems, install and update software and hardware as needed.
  • Anticipate and report on the cost of replacing or updating computer items.
Requirements
  • High-volume hotel operation experience, preferably in luxury hotels.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT with 2 years of relevant experience or certifications in Cisco CNA, MCSA/MCSE with 3 years of experience.
  • Experience with products such as Citrix Mainframe, Outlook, Backup Exec, Mitel PBX, Opera PMS, Delphi S&C, Aloha POS, PeopleSoft, and Windows-based applications.
  • Strong operational skills for Windows 10 & 11, Windows server 2012 & 2016.
  • Ability to configure and troubleshoot TCP/IP networks.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Good organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Efficient troubleshooting abilities.
  • Effective communication, speaking, writing, and active listening skills.
  • Great customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
