A key role in our organization is the Category Officer, who plays a crucial part in driving business expansion through effective category management. This position contributes to achieving financial and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets by maximizing customer engagement and satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular shop visits to observe stock positions, customer demographics, product range, and promotional opportunities.
  • Assist in providing timely category updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analyse weekly/monthly reports to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Maintain consistent high standards of customer service by optimizing the product range for maximum customer experience.
  • E nsure accurate stock availability and replenishment settings are aligned with business and brand requirements.
  • Implement industry-leading category initiatives to drive sales growth.
  • Analyse customer feedback, trends, and results to ensure exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in category coordination, strategic planning, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Ability to manage high-volume businesses and dynamic sales teams.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with multiple stakeholders.
  • Understanding of contemporary sales techniques and strategies.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive product knowledge, analytical skills, and market trend identification capabilities.
