Your Role

">
  1. You will work with senior chefs to maintain high standards of food quality, meeting guest expectations in preparation and cooking techniques.
  2. Demonstrate confidence and competence in preparation and cooking techniques.
  3. Maintain the quality of dishes at all stages, including preparation and presentation.
  4. Work closely with the team in all aspects of kitchen operations and adhere to guidance and direction.
  5. Follow established guidelines for food safety and handling.
  6. Ensure stock rotation, monitor stock levels, and assist with food costing and control.
  7. Contribute to kitchen presentation and operations, including maintenance, mise en place, and service.
  8. Show respect and understanding for Work Health & Safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Trade cooking qualifications are essential.
  • Experience in commercial cookery environments is preferable.
  • A respectful and professional approach to work and working with a team.
  • PASSION FOR FOOD AND A DESIRE TO LEARN.
  • Ability to adapt, show resilience, and maintain high standards under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Care and competence in maintaining high standards, even under pressure.
  • Physical fitness to perform role-related tasks.
