Project leaders play a vital role in driving business growth and development. As a Project Manager at our organization, you will be responsible for leading and delivering various civil, processing, and plant optimization projects. These initiatives are designed to support the expansion of our mine site, ensuring we remain competitive in the market.

You will work closely with our General Manager to design and execute operational and improvement projects that align with our strategic goals and objectives. This will involve collaborating with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and construction contractors to deliver multiple projects simultaneously.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing multiple small- to medium-sized projects through their entire lifecycle, from design to commissioning and handover.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and site requirements.
  • Providing input into our strategic plans, budgets, and targets, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Delivering regular project progress reports to key stakeholders.
  • Maintaining high standards of personal operational discipline and establishing routines for safe and efficient project delivery.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in project management, preferably in a mining or operational environment.
  • A strong track record of delivering projects within budget and timeframe.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience in managing small teams.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • An in-depth understanding of the project management lifecycle (PMBOK).
