Project Manager - New Equipment

This role entails overseeing and administering Electra's contracts related to the Sales Installation Process. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with other teams to ensure effective project management, resource allocation, and timely delivery.

  • Manage project objectives and priorities, assign tasks, monitor performance, and maintain a resource plan.
  • Maintain a high-performing team by recruiting, developing, and motivating field labor, setting standards of performance, and providing coaching.
  • Ensure Installation teams adhere to approved site programs, attend meetings, and exercise line authority over allocated installation field labor.
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with customers, government inspectors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to understand business challenges and recommend innovative solutions.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A tertiary qualification in Building or Engineering, or an Electrical or Mechanical Trade Certificate.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project management of Lift and Escalator installations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective planning and organizational skills.
  • Be a self-motivated individual who can work safely and efficiently in a dynamic environment.
