Job Role Summary

This role is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of elderly individuals, providing essential care and support services in their own homes.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Home Care Assistant. In this position, you will work closely with clients and their families to develop personalized care plans that cater to their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Transport clients to appointments and outings, promoting social interaction and community engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, ensuring seamless communication between healthcare professionals.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
  • A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license, with a willingness to travel to different locations.
  • The ability to work independently, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
