Regional Training Specialist

We are seeking a Regional Training Specialist to join our team, providing classroom and technical training for Heavy Vehicle Technician Apprentices and new Technicians.
The successful candidate will:
- Coach and develop less experienced technicians and apprentices to independently undertake troubleshooting, repairs, and rebuilds on Cummins Products
- Deliver Diesel Engine Fundamentals and Basic Diagnostic training to all apprentices in the region
- Participate in monthly meetings with other Capability Trainers and provide updates on progress against milestone training plans for apprentices in your area
- Maintain a focus on apprentice safety by participating in pre-start meetings to ensure their understanding of workplace hazards and risk
- Participate in the annual Onboarding Program for new apprentices
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Advanced level knowledge of and experience with Heavy Duty Engine products is essential
- Previous experience providing technical advice and coaching to apprentices/technicians (preferred)
- Possess or be willing to work towards achievement of Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Minimum 4 years post-trade completion preferred
