Training and Development Specialist

About This Role:
This position is responsible for delivering training programs across the region, focusing on competency-based development and assessment. The successful candidate will advise, coach, and supervise trainers to ensure effective delivery.
The role enhances operational readiness by supporting unit teams in developing plans that address training gaps and improve regional capabilities.
To achieve this, the trainer maintains accurate records of volunteer training and assessment, ensuring compliance with Registered Training Organisation standards and Health and Safety regulations.
Additionally, this role supports emergency response efforts, working closely with other agencies to provide specialist teams for search and rescue operations.
